I have been pouring over Revelations this week, just reading and rereading. And darn it, the more I read, the moe I want to do the homework so I understand better! Shocking I know. :P But, one question keeps coming to mind, and I thought I had written it down, but I can't find it. Babylon is what country current time? When you tell me, bells will go off.

ReplyDeleteOk - I`m just going thru Revelation again, chapter by chapter and separating things in heaven, earth and under the earth.
ReplyDeleteSometimes not sure where something takes place - like Rev 12:1-6 - "a sign in heaven" ok the sign was in heaven - was the sign the woman because I think she was on earth??? "her child caught up to God" which implies she was below and she was in the wilderness (earth I think) Then the dragon is at war with Michael in heaven but previously stood before the woman. Love your help with this.
Also are things "under the earth" below the planet earth or below in the dirt of the earth - for lack of a better way to put it. Sounds like a silly question but just wondering. Always thought of hell, abyss etc as the opposite place of heaven (heaven as high up as it gets and hell as low down as it goes) Starting thinking of this when the bottomless pit was mentioned.
When I start writing these things out and think about my pre conceived ideas about all these things - it's rather humorous these pictures I have had.(rightly or wrongly)
