I so appreciate all of you that have, so far, "stayed the course"... and if you have found that you have not, it is never too late to re-committ and join us on the 1st and 15th of every month!
My memory verse for this particular span of time is something that the Lord has been impressing upon me lately, a truth that, although a very familiar and much beloved portion of Scripture to me, still needs to go deeper into the very depths of my soul, and, the truth of it meant to be consciously carried with me every moment of my life here on planet earth...
"I will give thanks to You,
for I am fearfully
and wonderfully
made;
wonderful are Your works,
and my soul knows it well."
Psalm 139: 14 NASB
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

ReplyDeleteBehold, God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
ReplyDeleteEphesians 4:29
As I was copying this into my little memory book I kept saying "God help me!" I am excited about how often already I have been reminded in "the moment" to have edifying, grace filled speech.
