In Christ Alone

I'm currently meeting together with a young woman and we are studying through the Book of John together.  Last time we met we had already taken a look at the arrest and trial of Jesus in Chapter 18 and so we spent our time together looking at the crucifixion of Jesus in Chapter 19.  Until we gather again together next week, our time will be spent in Chapter 20 of the Book of John... the Resurrection of Jesus.

I have studied and taught the book of John many times over the past 20 years and every time, every time, I am brought to my knees in overwhelming tears of praise and gratitude for all that Christ has done for us and causes me to rededicate myself to bringing honour to His Name for as long as I occupy time upon this earth.

"... these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His Name."
