"...think that if we could forward it to the people that we know and ask them to do the same and put $5 or $10 towards World Vision Soccer for Somalia we could keep this story going and make such a difference. I have seen the small packets of food that are in foil packets that are peanut based and it is saving little lives. Apparently this story has been a boost for World Vision but it is so easy to forget... and the crisis is still going on... I just went and googled World Vision Soccer for Somalia and it is still there. The date says closing August 22nd but I see the amount has changed in the last few days so it must still work. Aloha Ke Akua... God is Love, Angie."
Angie, you may want to add more to this in order to fill in any gaps that I may have created in getting the message out!
I just made my donation this morning at World Vision Soccer for Somalia so they are still receiving donations and the total keeps rising!

Hi Cathie,
ReplyDeleteI do not think that anything needs to be added. I just encourage those who read this to send the link on to as many people as they can...WE ARE the ordinary Canadians
who CAN make a DIFFERENCE! I remember when I made my donation several weeks ago...feeling it seemed so inadequate. Marnie felt God wanted more and He hastaken that obedience and made it grow. I was a part of that day and it felt so good seeing people, young and old doing their part. Marnie had said when asked why she was doing this..."It's about loving our neighbours... and the Somalians are our neighbours."
Thanks Cathie for doing this!
Thank you Sisters!
Love...Always,
Angie
