Zilch...

Short Version:  

Due to a technical malfunction the April 7th, 2011 Session Thirteen will not be available... ever.

Longer Version:

Session Thirteen is zilch, nada, gone and gone while the gettin' was good.  If you need an explanation, here it is, I have never claimed to be a techno whiz, I do my best, but there are still large gaps in my understanding of most things electronic and techy in design.

If you have watched and listened to me over the past few months during class, particularly in the handling of that little audio taping device doohickey thing... you will have repeatedly hear me mutter "This thing just plain freaks me out" or "I don't know how to shut this thing off" or my particular (and accurate) favourite "I don't have a clue what I am doing".

The latter proved to be true this past Thursday, when I did manage to get the whole session recorded, I know this because when I was trying to shut the contraption off at the end of class it actually began playing back to me what had just been taught!  This led to a few more attempts, on my part, to try and turn it off, which only resulted in the whole session being somehow erased ... all but 7 seconds according to Brad who formats it onto MP3 for me.

I have decided that it may be a good idea to designate the handling of this little device to Karen... I haven't formally asked her yet, but I think that perhaps she may be in agreement that it would be better for all concerned, in this particular instance, if I was to 'Just step away from the device"...
