Meet little Isaac Loren Abbott!
He was born at 8:37am, Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011...
and after 32 hours of labour,
weighed in at a respectable 8lbs even!
His proud Daddy and beautiful beaming Momma stopped by after class so that we could all meet little Isaac and make a fuss... and just look at his Gramma Wendy!
This is a look that is especially reserved to grace the faces of Gramma's... it just makes my heart so tender to see this look on Wendy.

It just blew me away that Cat would come to class only 28 hours after giving birth... I saw the pictures of her taken only moments after having Isaac and Cat I just have to say... you are giving the impression that 32 hours of labour followed by an 8 pound baby boy is a walk in the park!
Congratulations to the Abbott and Leonberger family on the safe arrival of little Isaac!

On another note, our own sweet Mika will shortly be leaving for Quebec to attend Bible School. We were able to have a time of prayer together and knowing that she will be returning to us in 6 weeks makes the parting a tad easier... however, her sparkling eyes and joyful presence will be sorely missed in the weeks to come.
And look what I received! Of all my earthly delights a flower never fails to cheer my heart... and Nina blessed me with a lovely one... thank you Nina!
