No teaching notes available for this class, as we simply walked through the lesson, question by question and covered all the richness that was to be found in Scripture within the time we had. The Comment Cafe
In my prayer time this morning I referred back to John 17 and Jesus' High Priestly Prayer on our behalf. I thought of our discussion yesterday regarding sanctification and just had to share this impacting Truth from John 17:14-17. Remember, this is Jesus speaking to the Father on your behalf. Jesus.
ReplyDelete"I have given them Your (God) Word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the Truth; Your Word is Truth."
Jesus has given us God's Word.
We are set apart, we are sanctified, only one way.
Sanctified in the Truth.
His WORD is TRUTH.
Sanctify yourself today girls by allowing yourself the time to be washed in the water of His Word.
Schedule time, as you would any other appointment, and then give yourself to God.
THIS is how we are kept from the evil one.... being sanctified through the washing of the water of His Word.
