Selah, The Cause for Pause...
October is the perfect month to refocus ourselves on living each day in an attitude of Thanksgiving. Quite often our attitudes seem to be more focused on what we consider to be lack in our lives... and in the lives of others.
I love this verse from the Psalms that reminds me that I should consider pausing before passing through His gates - that I should consider pausing before entering into the very courts of God - to see if I am consciously carrying within my heart and soul the joy of thanksgiving and praise to Him, and in so doing... blessing His Name!
If nothing else, the wonderful knowledge that He has lovingly opened His gates and opened His courts that we may enter in through Jesus, should position our hearts in an attitude of Thanksgiving to Him!
Enter into His gates...
with thanksgiving,
And enter into His courts...
with praise.
Be thankful...
To Him...
And bless His Name.
