Hi Ladies, In church on Sunday we had a powerful presentation of the book of Philippians. It was a husband and wife that came to preach the sermon. They challenged our congregation to memorize 12 consecutive scriptures. I'll be memorizing 1 Peter 1:3-15. I might still be working on this for the period of June 15 - 30. I read it through this morning and it made me weep. the reason for our suffering, our future hope, how Christ fulfilled what was foretold so that I can be right with God. It's all just SO GOOD!
Wonderful portion of Scripture Jude... continue posting it here every two weeks as a way to encourage and reaffirm your commitment to tuck these truths deeply into your heart, mind and soul! Scripture memory... there's no other memory like it! :)
Great verses Jude. My verse, although late is: For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
Instruction, endurance, encouragement, hope... I'll take me a heaping, healthy portion of all of these! Margaret, isn't it just a wonder that it all is ours through the reading, believing and adhering to His Word?
